A glass facade between past and present
We were honored to develop and deliver a unique glass façade solution for the FLUGT Museum. The solution transformed the inside of the extension into an open, bright and welcoming space. The large glass panels create a visual connection between inside and outside, inviting visitors to experience the stories of refugees from a new perspective. Our expertise in glass design has enabled us to create a seamless integration between corten steel and glass. This has resulted in a visually stunning interplay between the rustic look of Corten steel and the transparent glass, allowing guests to experience both the heritage of the past and the light-filled surroundings of the present.
Through our innovative approach to glass façade design, we have created an atmosphere of openness and transparency that invites guests to explore and learn from the past. This glass façade solution is not only an aesthetic element, but also a symbolic representation of the survival, hopes and dreams for the future found in the story of refugees of the past and the reality of refugees today.
It was a pleasure to engage in an exciting collaboration with the architectural firm BIG for the best and most innovative glass façade solution for the FLUGT Museum. We believe that architecture and design can tell stories and create a deeper understanding of the past and, more importantly, the present we live in. With our solutions, we always strive to create a visual and emotional connection between the space and its historical significance.
It has been a pleasure working with Morten and Nordic Glass. We have achieved an impressive and beautiful result on the Flugt project, and it would not have been possible without the dedication, professionalism and positive attitude you have shown throughout the process.
I would like to emphasize the open and honest communication and willingness to listen to each other, which has enabled us to solve the challenges and make the right decisions together.
Thank you for the cooperation.
